XOS Digital acquires five high school and junior college digital media providers covering 43 states

ORLANDO/BOSTON – June 15, 2010 – XOS Digital, Incorporated, the leading provider of content management solutions and digital media services for sports organizations, today unveiled two digital scouting and recruiting services for collegiate athletic departments. The services, PlayerOnDemandTM and The Forbes Digital Scouting ReportTM, will be introduced as part of a phased launch later this year.

PlayerOnDemand, a secure web-enabled video centric portal, will allow college coaching staffs to view and download highlights of prep and junior college prospects along with video, school profile, statistics, player profiles and other data important to the prospect and the recruiter. The company will integrate PlayerOnDemand into its XOS Thunder™ coaching content management platform to enhance the management of all digital recruiting assets. High schools and junior colleges will have a central repository with ease of export from local editing systems directly in PlayerOnDemand assuring the best visibility for their student athletes.

To accelerate the aggregation of the nationwide database of prospect profiles, XOS completed the acquisition of NorCal Football Scouting, The Forbes Report, Rising Stock Scouting, Scouting Evaluation Association and Texas Sports Films this week. The company also named Gary Howard, formally founder and president of NorCal Football Scouting, as vice president and general manager for the new services.

“XOS is honored to have these companies and their staff members on its team,” said Christopher McCleary, CEO, XOS Digital, “We also are thrilled to have Gary Howard join our executive team to champion our new initiative to provide enhanced services to the coaching staffs of our college and university partners.”

The Forbes Digital Scouting Report will offer commentary, analysis and news on the prep and junior college athletes featured in PlayerOnDemand. The Forbes Report, founded in 1988 by former Notre Dame assistant coach Terry Forbes, will undergo a redesign and re-launch as a unit of XOS. “It will continue to serve as the authoritative industry information source on the collegiate recruiting process and its prospects,” said Randy Eccker, co-founder, XOS Digital. “In addition, Terry will continue on as a member of the XOS team to bring his insights to the market.”
