During a 1994 Panasonic users conference in Las Vegas NV, several Collegiate Video Coordinators from around the country attended.  During this time, a plan was formulated to meet the next year in South Bend, IN where other College Video Coordinators could meet and discuss new technologies and job related issues.  Several companies attended and wanted to sponsor the event.  From those 3 days in South Bend, the Collegiate Sports Video Association was formed.  By-Laws, a governing body and a conference format were developed.  From then on, 15 years later, the non for profit organization has grown by membership and vendors each year.  This thanks to Panasonic.
