BRIAN MURPHY    Video Coordinator

Brian Murphy joined the San Diego State athletic department staff in August 2003 as the video coordinator. In his position, he films and edits the Aztecs' football games and coordinates film exchange with other schools. He is in charge of all video packages used by the football coaches in their scouting and game preparation.
        Murphy's responsibilities also include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the video room and assisting with the video needs of other SDSU sports.
        From 1997-2000, Murphy was the assistant video director of the San Diego Chargers. He filmed and edited games and practices and assisted the NFL with the Super Bowl held in San Diego in 1998. He also provided the NFL with video support for the 1999 Holiday Bowl.  He resides with his wife Shawna and their daughter Cali in Pacific Beach, California
