Tim Collins

Tim Collins was elected Treasurer of CSVA in 2002 after holding the position of Secretary in 2001. In his current role, he maintains continual communication regarding the financial status of the Association to the Executive Board. Tim oversees the financial business, including disbursement of payments as approved by the Executive Board, for legitimate expenses incurred on behalf of the Association, and collects, records, and deposits all membership and sponsorship fees and dues.
 
The 2009 football season will be Tim Collins’ 19th year in charge of all video and filming needs for Notre Dame’s athletic department as its video systems technician. In addition to traveling to shoot Irish football games, Tim compiles all video packages utilized by Notre Dame’s football coaches in their scouting and game preparation. Tim and his staff also tape men’s and women’s home basketball games as well as hockey.
 
A native of South Bend, Collins is a 1987 graduate of John Adams High School and attended Indiana Vocational Technical College. He also spent three years as a part-time news photographer at WNDU-TV, the local NBC affiliate. 
 
Collins was named the Independent Conference video coordinator of the year in 1997, 1998, 2003 and 2004 by the Collegiate Sports Video Association. In June 2004, the Notre Dame Monogram Club awarded Collins an honorary monogram in recognition of his years of service. Collins, born Dec. 10, 1968, and his wife, the former Michelle Williamson, married in July 1990, and have a son, Carson, born Nov. 15, 2003
