Jake Stroot

 

Jake Stroot was elected to the Executive Board at the 2010 CSVA conference in Schaumburg, Ill. Stroot, who is in his 12 season with App St, graduated from Appalachian in 2004, oversees all technology and video-related needs for the five-time-defending Southern Conference champions.  He has been recognized as the At-Large Video Coordinator of the Year for 2009 & 2010.

His duties as CSVA Secretary include:

 

Enforce all policies on behalf of the Association; maintain communications with the Executive Board and Active Membership through the keeping of minutes of record; prepare, in conjunction with the Treasurer all financial reporting and a projected budget for the forthcoming fiscal year; distribute and log all membership applications as described in Article V, Section 4; oversee the compilation and distribution of the organization newsletter and any written communication to the membership body; prepare and present the minutes of the Association and submit a report of progress of the Association at each meeting; oversee the maintenance and enhancement of the Association websie, including the posting of comments and material pertinent to the Association and the profession; and distribute a copy of the audio-visual material recorded at the Association National Conference General Sessions to each of the twelve Conference Representatives, upon request
